<p>I figured, since the SAT is one week away, we could all compile a list of strategies, personal or not, that we use for the SAT. Here's to a great score.</p>
<p>Writing Section: I have personally put together a list of words that I use on every essay. It's anti-pedagogical but since statistics show that length and bombastic vocabulary can increase your score, there's no harm done. Make sure that the words used are what qualifies as "collegiate level" and learn how to use them well in context. That's my strategy. A list always helps when you don't know what to do. ;)</p>
<p>Sure...i'll give u the general idea
for literature, I make sure I always use utilize, expound, paragon/paradigm.
for the introduction, I tend to use words such as maxim, aphorism, apothegm when referring to the quotation given
for historical examples, (and others) i use words such as exemplify/exemplar, elucidate, germane/pertinent instance, and so on
