<p>Northwestern is looking like a definite possibility for a transfer, and I like everything I've heard about the school. However, I don't feel like I've heard all that much from an insider's perspective. I assume the people posting in the Northwestern section might even go there, so tell me all about Northwestern!</p>

<p>arcadefire1027, it could be that viewers think there are many threads in this forum that answer your question already. I suggest going back through the forum threads, as there's really a lot of info here (the most important being that there's a Chipotle in Evanston. ;)</p>
<p>You can probably tell I'm a mom, since I'm chiding you. FWIW: My son, a freshman at NU (loves Arcade Fire--saw them twice, once with a David Bowie appearance), LOVES NU. Loves his dorm, his friends, his classes, the place, Chicago, gets along really well with his roommate. Has not mentioned whether girls are hot or not, but isn't that in the eye of the beholder? Anyway, take a nice long read through the forum.</p>
<p>But, even better, go visit and find out for yourself. Do take note of the photo of horizontal icicles on the railing overlooking Lake Michigan, the one with the view of Chicago. (It's on the northwestern dot edu homepage--just cycle through the photos.</p>
