<p>BCEagle, Tsonga didn’t seem to be present on the court. Not sure where he was but McEnroe said “almost lethargic” which sounds about right. </p>
<p>I’m sure sitting around for 2-3 hours waiting for Rafa and Novak, wondering when they are going to finish so you can go on, is tough mentally.</p>
<p>His coach must be going nuts. All of the head-cases (that’s descriptive, not pejorative) must drive their coaches and fans nuts. Tsonga seems like such a great guy; he just seems to space out from time to time.</p>
<p>With the women’s finals being broadcast tomorrow morning at 6am. Pacific Time, I know I’ll have to get up early to see any of it. It’ll likely be over in an hour, sad to say. I’d love to see Maria beat Serena but that’s very unlikely.</p>

<p>Well, Serena is a great, great player but she lost me as a fan with so many examples of bad sportsmanship over the years.</p>
<p>She’s really gotten her emotions under control on the court. Perhaps that extends off the court now too. It looks like her coach has helped her quite a bit.</p>
<p>I agree with post #267 and prefer players like Kim Clijsters. Actually, is there anyone like Kim? But some audience prefer hysterical outbursts of emotion because it provides excitement to the game. Count me out. Still congratulations to Serena. She now joins Navratilova, Graf and Evert as women who have won all four Grand Slams at least twice.</p>
