I like Youzney aka Mr. Sexy Legs (I have my own set of nicks and they’re way better than BG’s ) but boy did Llegs choke that match away. GSM Djoker.

I feel sorry for anyone having night session tonight - I’d love to be wrong but think its going to be a snoozefest.

He managed to win the U.S. Open in his last tournament, but he had a slamless drought for two years before that. He really wasn’t at the top of his game when he retired. It’s possible that Federer could summon one more great run. He is bothered by back pain right now; if this improves, he could definitely win another slam.

It’s amazing how two people can look at the same thing and see it differently. When I look at Youzney, I think of the guy who bashed his head in with a racket until it was bloody. He’s a crazy guy.

I think Maria was better when she was a bit shorter. She grew at least a few inches after her first Wimbledon win at the age of 17, and I think it messed up her serve and made court coverage more difficult. That’s just my theory.

Wawrinka has really played some nice tennis during the tournament. I am a Murray fan, but I’ve had a feeling that Nadal would take it all since the first round.

Can we switch gears for a moment and talk about the tennis fashion? We’ve all seen some bad choices through the years. Think all of those dresses that Venus designed and then had to tug on between every point because the dress was sliding down her chest, not to mention Rafa’s pirate pants. I am open to debate, but I’m going to nominate Victoria Azarenka for worst fashion of the tournament. That dress looks like she grabbed it out of the Salvation Army barrel and it is very unattractive when she starts to sweat. The AELTC is on to something with still requiring predominantly white.

^ I agree! I was thinking how really unattractive her ensemble looked. Baggy, shapeless, looked like cheap 50/50 poly cotton. Obviously players are going to perspire so wear something that doesn’t show every drop. The red dress worn by Hantuchova opponent was nice looking.

Vika’s boob sweat stains were rather unfortunate and her outfit makes her look dumpy so I have to give her the award for worst dressed. Runners up are Kuznetsova and Wozniacki (I don’t know *** Stella was thinking there.)

I also think Venus should give up fashion designing - it is clearly not working.

Azarenka, for such a fit lady - though I think she’s gained some weight was not at all flattered with the junk Nike gave to her. It’s the stuff someone might wear for a work out or for lounging around the couch.

Federer’s outfit was kind of ugly in one of the early rounds. Not digging Nadal’s pink on grey combo.

Eugenie Bouchard (Go Canada!) had to wear Sharapova’s dress and it looked horrific.

I like Nole’s clothing this time. Uniqlo is typically pretty dull IMO.

A few years ago, H and I were watching some tournament (can’t remember which one), Azarenka entered the court and H said something like why is she dressing like a HOBO. She hasn’t improved much since.

With all her millions you’d think Serena could hire a fashion consultant. A ruffled skirt on those hips is not flattering and bras should not peep out of the top or sides.

I agree that Wozniaki’s dress was ugly too. I liked the little light green outfit that Camila Giorgi wore in that match.

Nole is through but I personally think he didn’t play well, except the last set. All those errors! But then again, maybe he wasn’t feeling that intense since he was playing, well…Youzhny.

Nole-Wawa will be fun, at least. Another Swiss in the semis - just not the one we expected!
