I feel like Nadal is ‘injured’ whenever he’s losing.

See 2008 AO, 2010 AO vs Murray.

^ Exactly.

^ Bull. 10char

I am home recovering from a very minor surgery so I watched the Davis Cup matches yesterday. I turned the channel because I thought Querrey had everything under control, then I turned back to see that he lost!

I only watched the Aussies. Not looking good at all for my favorite DC team but it was so nice seeing Pat coach that I don’t even mind the scoreline. France on clay was always going to be problematic but at least the Aussies made it back into the World Group.

Bumping now that the Oly’s are over and IW has started and Miami is next up.

After watching Sock play - definitely will never be on my list. Nice win for Smyczek.

I am going out to Indian Wells tournament on Monday. I can’t wait!

I wish. Thankfully I’m going home tomorrow so I’ll have access to Tennis Channel though!

tx5, have a fab time. I am very jealous - even moreso then usual because of the weather in the desert!

Some good matches on the men’s side of schedule today. Too many women’s matches cluttering up the broadcast the last two days.

I had such a fun day yesterday at the Paribas Open! We ended up spending over 12 hours at the tournament . Since we just have grounds passes we started on the new Stadium 2 (which is really great). We saw the first 2 sets of Murray vs. Jiri Vesely and 1 set of Monfil vs Fognini. Walking around the grounds I spotted Rory McIlroy talking to Djokovic on the work-out field next to the practice courts. We saw Isner & Querrey play doubles on an outer court. Some random guy gave us free box seats for Stadium 1 (ours were in the nosebleed section) so we had great seats for the Dolgopolov upset of Nadal. we didn’t have seats for the night session so we went back to Stadium 2 and saw Cibulkova vs Marakova (which was a pretty dull match) and ended the very long day with the really exciting doubles match of Federer/Wawrinka vs Gulbis/Raonic. The weather was great, a little too warm if you weren’t in the shade during the day but beautiful in the evening. My mom and sister are going back for more today but I am headed home. Thanks for listening. I think you guys are the only ones who would understand.

Sounds like a fab day. I am very jealous. I love TennisWorld. I usually go to Miami, since my parents live down there, but since college tuition I have cut back on tennis excursions. I might put IW as first up once I don’t have that bill anymore.

Some very wacky matches yesterday. Fog/Monfil was surely the wackiest, followed by Dog/Rafa. Very happy Dog won. Also v happy Tommy won. Did Roger and Stan win the dubs match?

Yes Roger and Stan won 7-6, 7-6. Roger commented that he won 4 tie-breakers yesterday. For the dubs they play no-ad and if they split sets they play a super tie-breaker. Isner made a comment after his doubles match with Querrey that when he and Sam are serious when they play together they always lose, but they joke around and have fun they are much more successful.

Isner and Querry - that’s one freakishly tall doubles teams!

I was very surprised Feds match with Tursunov went to two tiebreaks. Fed looked meh. I think it’s the very slow surface at IW. I didnt think they could make a hard court so slow.

Glad Murrey lost yesterday. I was rooting for Tommy but knew it was a lost cause. Still he played well and was a very good match. Gulbis/BRA was a drarmarama.

Also happy about Murray losing. Now I just hope Raonic can make use of that win, but because he’s Raonic I know he’ll lose to Dolgopolov right now.

Glad they finally showed some doubles.

There’s 'Nole, and then there’s everybody else! Ajde 'Nole!

I am a fan of all the men in the semis, but really don’t care for any of the ladies.

Bumping as Miami starts today.
