Was that today? I’m way behind - Murray blurgh is still on. Will have to fast forward. :)

I should take a gander at the ESPN Tennis channel.

Isner pretty impressive when his serve is on.

Well Joker/Dimi was quite the dramarama. Thoroughly enjoyed it. :)

Fed and Murray look like they have injury issues.

Don’t get me excited! Nishikori plays Fed in the next round.

Oh my God Nishikori won over Federer!

I’ll have to watch some of that. Federer did not look that good in the match the other night. He grabbed his back and winced on a few shots.

I enjoyed the Berdych - Janowicz match. Basically a slugfest. Also enjoyed Haas - Robredo. Two old guys playing a blend of modern and classic styles.

I watched a little of the Nadal - Paire match. It went the way you’d expect.

Murray having a difficult time against Simon. Simon looks different - something about the hair.

This match is 5-5 in the third. It’s also a slugfest but it’s in duration of points. The points are so long. Murray just missed an easy overhead after a very long point. He was up at the net and the ball was a few feet from the net. He either had a lot of sweat in his eyes or he was tired.

Dimitrov chokes. Expected.

^ NID

10 char

OMG xD Today Serena’s opponent was going to serve with new balls (new balls move faster = better for Serena) so on the changeover she took them and started to rub them against her racquet to fluff them up. Against USTA rules but the ITF doesn’t seem to have something explicit, though other rules could include it. Ridiculous!

12 page thread on TF denouncing the act xD

I imagine Head is not pleased.

HOLY EFF! I’m watching the rerun, and now with new balls at 5*-5 in the final set she’s bouncing them viciously with the edge of her racquet! Someone ban her from tennis immediately!

Murray was so moody in the second set. Half the time it felt like he didn’t want to play. I don’t know if an injury but I imagine he drives his coaching staff nuts.

His loss was expected. He’s a non-factor on clay.

Enjoying the Wawrinka-Tsonga match. Stan’s a dangerous guy.

Nadal to spank Wawrinka in the final.

Should be interesting. Wawrinka is playing very well and Nadal isn’t playing his best. I think that Nadal has a decent fitness advantage which will help. I’m a bit surprised that the top four haven’t played their best tennis at this tournament. It seems like the old and or walking wounded.
