Nadal spanking Wawrinka in the final.

^NID.

On to Rome. :)

Rome, second round. Watching Djokovic struggle against Montanes early on.

Kohlschreiber beat Raonic, first round I think.

Djokovic stepped it up and crushed Monanes.

Fed is playing much, much better now.

Berdych had a relatively easy time.

The tennis this tournament seems quite a bit better than the last one. At least from the top players.

And then Murray retires, might be out of the FO

Yessssssssssssssss

Okay, back injury.

Score points for Federer with his fluid and efficient playing style for staying healthy longer. Federer has had back problems for the past year but heâs in his 30s. Djokovic has had back problems too. I do not believe that Nadal has had back problems - his core is so strong it probably helps prevent them.

That was the strangest ending. Murray wins the second set and theyâre at 1-1 and then he walks over and ends it. Caught some of the Nadal match - he looks in great form.

Looks like Djokovic lost to Berdych. Iâm going to have to watch that match. Djokovic said that he wasnât playing badly but Berdych is one of those players that can beat anyone if his head is on straight for the match.

Always a good day in tennisworld when Nole loses.

Looks like Rafa is on track to win another trophy.

Trying to decide if itâs worth waking up to watch the beat downâŠ

I donât think so. Iâll catch it on replay and fast-forward it - should only take two or three minutes to get the gist of it. Nobody is going to beat Nadal on clay. Especially the old man.

Well, it wasnât worth waking up for sure :P

Looks like Berdych did better than Federer.

Murrayâs officially out and Del Potro is unofficially out.

Yessssssss and indifferent.

AwwwâŠI like JMDP. He was quite humble after his USO win.

At least itâs not an injury.

WOW havenât seen this thread until now. But I only come to CC once in a while except for the past couple days since I have more time.

DH and I are big fans. DH still plays. I used to play but had to stop to minimize impact on the joints. Niether of us were ever really good players but enjoyed playing. One of the items on our bucket list is to complete the spectator slam.

I couldnât finish watching the Roger/Rafa match this weekend. It was too sad for me. Rafa and Serena are both playing so well. Canât wait for the French Open to start.

Draw is out. Nishikori to lose to Nadal in R16, Raonic a winnable draw vs. Berdych. Serena to steamroll Radwanska in QF (as long as she wins R1, ugh).

Iâd give Berdych the mental edge over Raonic (which isnât saying much).

I looked at the draw briefly yesterday and Berdych has a pretty tough 1st round, iirc.

Happy that Roger is on other side of the draw from Rafa & Joker.
