Geezmom, a friend of my son’s was on the waitlist last year and was shortly accepted after that. May I ask what state you guys are in? My son is curious to know how long it will take for him to receive the letter, we are in NC and I would think it would take about 3 days.

Unlike most schools, DePaul does not accept more students than they have slots so they have a very active waiting list. Good luck!

We have been out of town so no access to snail mail since Tuesday. D has been waiting for DePaul and Fordham (among others). Held mail should be waiting for us when we get home around midnight tomorrow. Please keep your fingers crossed for us.

proudtheatremom~we are in Illinois

proudtheatremom and theater mom~thanks for the words od encouragement : )

OneToughMommy~good luch to D,

Waitlisted
ba boom

Ohhaicollege…when did you find out?

just got my letter in the mail about a hour ago

Has anyone heard of anyone being accepted?

Were the people who got waitlisted actors? I applied for lighting design. Has anyone heard from the design programs?

rraatt~My son is a waitlisted Lighting Design major

Just went into campusconnect to see if anything was happening there; info is now for admitted student. D’s in the theatre school.

Good luck everyone!!

so wait campus connect has information?

Did you get a letter as well?

Have not received the letter we’re on the east coast, but when I went into the site I noticed that under her “to do” list was “immunizations” with the deadline date. That made me look at the admitted students tab and (unless it’s filled out for everyone regardless), everything she needs to do to get admitted is there.

Thinking that it’s just wishful thinking, I clicked on a few tabs and her name is there. Want to wait for the letter, just to make sure, but try and see what happens.

would you mind posting the link to it?
I am so confused because I think it says the same for me but its confusing so I was going to try and figure it out. I’m in Nebraska and still haven’t heard either. Waiting games are never fun.

Here’s the link to Campus Connection:

campusconnect.depaul.edu

Put in your personal id and password. When the page comes up on the right-hand side it says “Holds and To Dos”. On my d’s page under “to do summary” where previously it said “none” it now has a plus sign and the word “immunizations”. If yours has the same, click on “Admitted Students” and see what happens. Good luck.

Yes I still have none. I suppose that’s not good news haha but I’m glad I know something.
Did that change today?
Thanks!

I did not check it yesterday, so I don’t know when it came up. On the DePaul thread someone said that you usually get the letter first, and then you can access the “admitted student” tab. I like to see things in writing, so hopefully, she’ll get the letter today.

This waiting is horrible!!

Did the people who got waitlisted have their campus connect change too?

Campus connect has the information. I called school today and they said letters were mailed out late Friday so we should get this week. They confirmed my son did get in to the BFA Theater program (as connect stated) and we have still not received the letter in the mail. We are in Georgia.
