<p>I agree with what sydney said earlier in the post. I'm just tired of people like Gumball saying that they know more about my religion than I do from googling anti-Islam websites and saying that they've read the Qu'ran. Yeah, this thread sickens me. I love learning about different religions, and when I first read the OPs questions I was thinking "Cool. I'll actually learn more about other religions," but instead I've found the same ridiculous debate that's been going on for 1400 years. Just put it to rest already. Whatever you choose to believe is fine with me, and I'm interested in hearing about your religion, but I don't feel it's your place to put down mine or anyone elses. K THX. also, sorry for bumping, I'm not sure how I found this thread eheh. Oh yeah, I agree with the people who say that Islam isnt the only religion that preaches tolerance for Jews. In theory, it should be one of them, since Jews and Christians are people of the book, but unfortunately I think it's a mix of culture and religion on that issue. Just remember that stereotypes don't hold for everyone- that's why they're stereotypes! In one of my classes, a fellow Muslim friend of mine told his teacher that he was going to get a citizenship interview, and she asked him (seriously):"are you a terrorist?" it's crazy. i feel like everyone does it and just needs to stop. muslims do it with others (see above). yeah, OK now i'm done.
