ahhh, two weeks!!!

I cant wait for TP to come back!

Wow, twelve more days. Hang in there.

I’m hanging - by the fingernails. :/

Ten days. Oh boy, the single digits…

yay for single digits. it’s basically nine days and some hours now.

the time has come. it’s been real.

I’m into Smith and Mount Holyoke now, so I can rest a little easier. Wesleyan, Barnard, Bowdoin and Bryn Mawr next, then Judgment Day.
OH, FOR A DRINK RIGHT NOW.

major congrats sent your way squaregirl. if you get into bryn mawr and end up going there – dissing everyone else who accepted you – and i get into haverford and end up going there – dissing everyone else who accepted me – we must chill.

and yes, we’re in single digits, now. crazy. harvard, give me the green light. give me just one night.

We must indeed! And maybe toilet paper Harvard or something. Or just beg them to take us back. I think the current No Transfers policy is MADE OF FAIL. :(

Congrats, Squaregirl! I regret not applying to Barnard.

9 days until all our dreams are crushed. I made the mistake of opening the Harvard viewbook the other day. :o For those of you who have gotten to visit, is it as pretty as the pictures?

yes, definitely some places like lowell yard or harvard square.

but then there are some sketchy alleys where the lights don’t work, places where the brick sidewalk is broken and you have to hopscotch along the way so as to make sure you don’t break your foot. harvard. sigh.

It’s GORGEOUS. But then, the last time I saw it, I’d just come from visiting Yale (New Haven = eyesore), so I was more inclined to be wowed. ;)

Yea, TP is back !!!

omgg I’m freaking out, getting a Cornell LL is giving me slight hope that I can get in!!!

I wish I was on the same boat as all you over achievers, ha.

Squaregirl, I know how you feel, I also have an SAT in the 2050-2100 range. Hopefully, at least one of us makes it in.

Whenever I go onto CC and look at all these ridiculous stats, I reassure myself of my incredibly small, yet existent, chance for admission by realizing my SAT score (1 sitting) is slightly below the 25% mark of accepted students on the MRW scale, and slightly above the 25% mark on the MR scale.

@collegebound, I am guessing they will accept you based off the stats/info you gave in previous posts. Please let me know how it goes; I want to see how well my chancing is.

Heh, you and me, waitn184! I’ve been psyching myself out over numbers, which is sad because I feel that my essays and reccs were pretty strong. But hey, you see all your peers have high scores and ranks and, well…bring on the ego deflation. :

^ CHIN UP!

(That was in a stern, but well meaning voice)

Well my personal peers encourage my chances!

At my school there are 3 other Harvard applicants. One is a salutatorian with a similar SAT score (2050 or 2090). That kid has a chance because his Ex-Cs are pretty good.

One is an indian (asian) applicant who thinks he has good chances because he is applying as an international applicant (Doesn’t that lower your chances?). I believe his SAT is 1850 or 1830, and he is probably not even in the top 10% of our class.

Another white applicant, with similar stats as the Indian, believes he has a chance because he can speak 3 languages.

None of us have any hooks.
