The Thread for AP Exam Curves

whys everone 'bumping' aourn here :)

Psych, please.

AP Psychology
[sorry if its been posted. i couldn't find it]

correct - (1/4)(#wrong) = Section 1

Essay 1 score (usually out of 8-10) * 2.5
Essay 2 score (out of 8-10) *3,125

[the essay grading varies)

add the composite scores

100-150 5
85-99 4
63-84 3
45-62 2
0-44 1

i think this [what i posted] is slightly off because on the test booklet, it said that MC was worth 55%

I think the AP Psych will be higher than that this year because of the easy FR.

Thanks!
And yeah, it definitely was a lot easier than I thought it would be so the curve is probably harsher.

Ap Econ- Macro And Micro Please Someone Post It

For econ:

71-90 5
53-70 4
43-52 3
31-42 2
0-30 1

that high? really?

in PR, it's 65 for 5 for Macro, 68 for Micro

anyone have AP Eng Lang? I had it after my teacher handed the scoring out but I lost it x_x

(btw i looked at the one on the first page and it was off bc the score I got came out from a mid 5 to a 4 on this one)

yeah that's what my econ teacher told us last year for Macro, too.

What is the formula for determining the composite score for AP Spanish Literature? What are the composite score ranges for each respective grade?

Bump because I have nothing better to do.

Multiple Choice:
Number Correct - (.25 * Number Wrong) = Multiple-Choice Score

Free Response:
(1.75 * Question 1 Score) + (1.5 * Question 2 Score) +
(1.5 * Question 3 core) = Free-Response Question Score

Composite Score:
Multiple Choice Score + Free-Response Score= Composite Score

MACROeconomics
Percent of the students with grade*
5 = (65-90) 12.0%*
4 = (50-64) 28.2%*
3 = (41-49) 19.4%*
2 = (26-40) 25.1%*
1 = (0-25) 15.3%*

MICROeconomics
Percent of the students with grade
5 = (68-90) 12.5%*
4 = (54-67) 24.4%*
3 = (42-53) 25%*
2 = (30-41) 21.7%*
1 = (0-29) 16.3%*

does anybody have a spanish lit curve?

^^^ Bump. In terms of the composite score range for AP Spanish Literature, is it similar to AP English Literature? What are the grade ranges?

Spanish Lit 2007
5= 11.5%
4= 22.6%
3= 27.5%
2= 14.9%
1= 23.6%

chemistry, please?
I know a curve was already posted in the first page of this thread, but the link only shows the point distributions for the old 2002 version.
Soo...I'm not sure if it's accurate or not...anyone know the current curve?

does anyone know the most recent scoring for ap biology?

2007 released exam

MC
34 listening [correct-(1/3)incorrect] x 0.8823
41 reading [correct-(1/3)incorrect] x 1.0975

FR
Interpersonal Writing
x/5 x 3
Presentational Writing
x/5 x 6
Interpersonal Speaking
x/5 x 3
Presentational Speaking
x/5 x 3

add them all up
112-150 = 5
92-111 = 4
77-91 = 3
60 - 76 = 2
0- 59 = 1
