what is the percent you can get in spanish?

How’s the curve for AP Physics C Electro? I heard it can get as lot as 50%, which is kinda sad. But then again on our last test, the class average was a 50/100 with a 30 point curve.

Huh, I hear E&M has the biggest curve out of any AP! It’s 60% for a 5, I believe.

Sorta annoys me, but whatev. =|

Curves for Calc AB, physics b, apush, and stat?

are the curves in those revised for the new scoring system? Or are those still old?

What is the curve for AP Human Geography? I saw one on either page 3 or 4, but on the 2011 exam it says incorrect answers and unanswered questions will not be weighted. So the 1/4 point off for every incorrect answer is not in effect?

Try reading.
On that very page, at the top:

"Beginning with the May 2011 AP Exam administration, there will be a change to the way AP Exams are scored. Total scores on the multiple-choice section will be based on the number of questions answered correctly. Points will no longer be deducted for incorrect answers and, as always, no points will be awarded for unanswered questions.

How the Scoring Change Affects Released Exams

Due to the change to the way AP Exams are scored, the scoring worksheets found within the Released Exams in the College Board Store have been revised. To download a new worksheet for a Released Exam, click the appropriate link below."

Bump… I dont know whether these curves remain in the same level all the time?

The new curves, without the MC penality, are probably slightly higher.

Jesus, that’s a bad news. But it makes sense…

^ Actually, it’s only bad news if you are better a multiple choice.
If you are better at FRQ, it works in your favor.

what are the curves for AP Physics C mechanics? Have they changed significantly since they separated the two C exams into two?

Both physics c’s tend to have pretty nice curves (around a 60-70 for a 5 on mechanics and 50-60 for e&m I think) but, of course that’s because they are well deserved curves for the rigor of the tests.

Each test is done on a normal curve, so it varies from year to year and reflects the overall difficulty of the exam

Curves do change VERY minimally, however.

For example, in 2008, the AP Chem cutoff for a 5 was a 100-150.

Assuming the 2012 test was more difficult, I could see it going down to 98-99.
Assuming the 2012 test was easier, I could see it going up to 101-102.

just go on

great website, and it calculates your scores for you!

But isn’t a lot of that stuff like pretty outdated by now?

Like I used it this year, but I know that for Chem. at least they can only base it off of the like '08 scores, and I’m sure that the test has changed a lot by now :(
