ooh, lol. in that case…agreed, she is.

"lol, i’ll take that as a compliment… "

This letter is basically Letter #3 - I think…still no update…

December 18, 2009

A decision has been made on XXX’s application and would have been sent to your address in XXXX. Our high application volume, coupled with the very strong credentials of our applicants in recent years, has contributed to an increasingly competitive admission, XXX’s application has been deferred for a final decision until a later date.

Her application will be re-evaluated, and final decision will be made based on how your credentials and academic achievements contribute to the composition and quality of this year’s freshman applicant pool. All final admissions decisions of admit, deny, or waitlist will be made no later than mid-April.

bumpin cause it’s relevant

If you haven’t noticed yet, throughout all of these deferral letters on all these different Michigan threads in the past day, one type is for students who got deferred from LSA, one is for students who got deferred from engineering, and one doesn’t specify that I would assume is for kinesiology and any other schools. I don’t think the 3 different letters mean anything other than that. Only thing you can do at this point is to get good grades going forward, and not worrying about or getting your hopes up based on which deferral letter you got.

^ No… my friends who were deferred from CoE got the same letter as I did, and I was deferred from LSA.

I was deferred and I currently have 2 B+'s, an A-, and 2 A’s should I send in my grades for this semester? Are we required to?

I got the first letter. I sure hope this bodes as well for my application as you guys make it out to.

stuckonthepuzzle, I think you have to have your grades sent in, but it’s likely that your school will do it for you. Otherwise, you might have failed all of your classes during first semester in Michigan’s eyes.
