CR 740 M 620 W 730

Ehh, not awesome, but not to bad either. I was really hoping for at least 1 800. WHY DO I SUCK AT MATH??? I really didn’t think I did that bad!!

My reading scored dropped by 90 points from last time… but it was expected, considering i couldn’t concentrate on the passages at all and that i retook the test solely to raise my M and W scores.

CR 660 M 780 W 800 (79, 10)

Superscore: 2330! (750, 780, 800)

Guys, practice really works: 140 (PSAT) -> 2330 (Superscore)

First SAT I ever took last year I got an 1800

1 year and 2 months later after a lot of work

I got a 2270 (740cr, 760M, 770W)

Just goes to show you that hard work does pay off!!!

Critical Reading 800 99%
Math 780 99%
Writing 760 99%
Multiple Choice 71 (score range: 20-80)
Essay 11 (score range: 2-12)

Should I retake? The only prep I did was doing 3 practice tests the week before, so I am curious if I’ll be able to improve or not.

Does anyone who’s taken the SAT before think this writing section was hard? I thought it was quite easy when I was taking it, but ended up with a 630 on writing (8 on essay). English is one of my strongest subjects, so I was very surprised!

Yeah my writing dropped from a 770 to 710. I was really shocked.
November:
730 CR
730 Math
770 Writing
Total: 2230

December:
720 CR
750 Math
710 Writing
Total: 2180

I feel like crying right now. I spent $88 to take the test a fourth time only to see my score drop 50 points…

rococo…that’s still an amazing score. I’m so mad about writing…there were only like 3 multiple choice that I was hesitant about after taking the test!

First shot, took it mostly cold:

CR - 620
M - 560
W - 690
Total: 1870

I’m not happy with myself for this first try, I feel like it should have been a lot higher.

wait. im a little confused. my first two sat’s:

770M 720CR 710W
then
770M 750CR 690W
now
750M 790CR 800W

ummm…hahaha

CR- 620 hmm strange
M - 600 Surprised, I honestly thought I bombed this
W - 560 (8 essay) WHAT THE HELL?! Essay was too short probably and I knew I messed up on identifying errors.
Total: 1780

First try as a Junior, gotta keep a positive attitude, I know I can do better. Even while taking the test I had a weird, ominous feeling.

Going to study my arse off, I’ll be back next time with a 2300+ Hurrah! Good luck everyone

CR: 690
M: 750
W: 800 (WOOT)
Total: 2240
I’m satisfied. 100 point increase son!

Don’t sweat it, the same exact thing happened to me. My first shot resulted in an 1870 (December 2010).

With some studying and some more experience from school (undoubtedly, you’ll be at a disadvantage compared to most seniors taking it now or most juniors taking it in May) you’ll be on track for that 2300.

ok well i’ve learned something. you can try and try and try for these sats and then out of the blue, all of a sudden, you can get an amazing score. i never thought id go from a 2200 to a 2210 to a 2340 with minimal studying…i always figured that i’d do a 2200 to a 2280 to a 2340. that just goes to show that curves and certain tests can help people out! you guys keep at it! believe me it’s always worth a shot!

well i completely suck…

CR- 600
MATH-600
WRITING- 570 (essay score of 8)

Total= 1770

Is there any way i can improve to a 1950 before the march SAT? Please respond. I would really like to improve 60 points in each section!

No 2400s this time?

CR-640
Math-750
Writing-770 (11 Essay)
Combined: 2160

What a disappointment. Got 740 on average continuously for practice test for Critical Reading…knew i did bad, but 640? Wow…and math, holy crap, this is the fourth time i got 750 or 760. Its my best subject (took apcalcbc as sophomore), and should be 800. Writing was god.

@SakataGintoki
awesome score really.

Math2- 800
Physics- 800
Chemistry- 800

subject tests are not that important… guess this won’t help me much

Does anyone know what the multiple choice score under Writing means? I had a 79 and it says on the side (20-80). I thought there were only like 45 multiple choice questions for writing.

2080
730 W - (10 essay) WHAT?! I got a 53 on PSAT W sophomore year…
690 M - Ugh. I know I can do better though, so I’m not too worried about it.
660 CR - Hahh… What a joke. Definitely need to prep for this.

Overall I’m happy with my score though, for now. My goal for this time was 2100. I didn’t prep, though, and this is just my first try. I’m a junior so I’ve got plenty of time to bring it up. I really just wanted to see what it was like and what I need to work onn. It’s crazy that writing was higher than CR and M… Math’s my strong suit, and I usually suck at writing.

I’d be happy with a 2250, I think! Not too far to go. I think with some prep I can get there. :)

Congratulations to you all, all your scores are absolutely awesome!
