The time your brain screws up what you want to do

Well, until now, i was so clear that i was going to go forth with Genetic Engineering and planned everything accordingly, until the age of 16, when everything brings up a second thought. My mum's friend, awesome kind of a lady she was, ALL SARCASM INTENDED, asked me whether that's what i really see myself doing 20 years down the line. That's where every paper of dreams in my head started to hit the shredder. I started to question myself, and to this day, they remain unanswered. I want to do something more of MYSELF. Here are my interests, hopefully you guys can help find my stream? please, this is crucial for choosing my subjects for IB.

I like writing, and being the random girl, I live up to entirely. Poetry, short stories, scripting a short film, shooting and editing the short film, and all that stuff.

I do like science, and would enjoy getting deeper knowledge into it. (no gynecologist, dentistry, surgical sciences) I DO NOT WANT TO INDULGE IN COMMERCE AND BUSINESS.

I enjoy arts and craft, and graphic designing

I like talking to people, and psychology also is an option.

help me? i will love you forever :P

Oh my god get a grip of what you want to do, and stop doubting yourself. This is essentially a pointless thread, as it’s really hard to take advice on such an important matter from people who know 4 sentences about you.

Be decisive and confident when choosing a career: that’s the best advice I can give you.

Maybe psychology? Or fashion merchandise? I know it’s somewhat related to commerce, but still, it lets you be creative… I’m pretty sure that’s what my cousin majored in… He’s been out of school for about a year and his current “baby” is Target’s ad campaign… Like, he’s overseeing their whole ad campaign that comes out in September. Maybe teaching would be a good career for you? Or perhaps journalism? Just a few suggestions(:
