It wasn't from a single class -- it was from 2000-2005. But yeah, pretty impressive.

Not quite sure of the exact statistics, but from my class of 700+ we had about 200 go to Rutgers. I even want to say Rutgers College with another 100 or so going to the other R-NB colleges, but as I am not sure, I'll stick with a conservative estimate

anyone can get in college if they have a high school diploma. 50% of the colleges in US will take anyone that's breathing. People probably think college isn't really worth it, so they choose not to go/apply.

Small public magnet HS in SoCal, class of 2005 (about 150 students):

UCI-35 (we're in Orange County, so this is the local UC; about 50% of the class was accepted)
CSU Long Beach-20
UCLA-11
UCSD-10
Cal Poly Pomona, CSU Fullerton-9
UC Berkeley-7
UCSB-6
UCR, SDSU-4
UCD, UCSC, Cal Poly SLO-2

1 to Yale, 1 to USC (9 accepted), and 5 to community college, so I'd say about 25 went to private/out of state colleges.

My school: 100% of students are accepted into four-year colleges. 95% of these students matriculate.

Here's my list (years 2003-2005):

SUNY - Stony Brook University (20 or more students yearly matriculate; most get accepted. I would say roughly 95% who apply get accepted.)

CUNY - Baruch College

SUNY - Binghamton University

St. John's University

CUNY - Queens College

CUNY - Hunter College

Since 2000 (first grad. class):

Students have also gotten into and matriculated at: Barnard (4 accepted), Sarah Lawrence (2 applied, 2 accepted), Columbia (8 accepted, none in the clases of 2004-2005), Cornell (17 accepted), NYU (3-8 each year), Boston University (a few every year), SUNY Geneseo (1 applied, 1 accepted), Smith (1 applied, 1 accepted - she was so unhappy that she transferred to Pepperdine), a lot at Johnson & Wales (RI), a few at Fairfield, and a few at the University of Hartford.
