On Rose Bowl Day, expect the eyes of the California Golden Bears to transform itself in sunny Los Angeles county, and be unequivocally on the side of the Wolverines. We hate Texas. They cheated us in two vote frauds in the past month alone. BCS and the Presidential election.

May the eyes of the Golden Bears be as canny as the soul of the Wolverine, who easily detects evil vote fraud, and tears out the heart of its evil mountain lion enemy, to bring peace to the land of America. The 11 million in Los Angeles County and the entire state of California is now a Wolverine for the ROSE BOWL!

I realize that the stadium will probably be in favor of Michigan.

Most Bowl games usually have a 25% (for team I)-25% (for team II) - 50% (neutrals) mix as far as spectators go.

In the case of this year's Rose Bowl, 25% for Michigan, 25% for Texas and 50% neutral fans there to enjoy the game.

Usually, the vast majority of those 50% neutral fans come from the state where the game is played. Last year, in the Michigan vs USC game, about 65%-70% of the fans were pro-USC because the 50% that are neutral were from the LA and leaned toward USC. Given the way Cal was stiffed this year, I wouldn't be surprised if most of those 50% neutrals were in favor of Michigan. So I would say that roughly 60%-70% of the stadium this year would be rooting for the Wolverines.

Glad to hear you will be rooting for the Wolverines. But I have a fleeting suspicion that even if Texas deserved its spot in the Rose Bowl (which it doesn't), you would still be rooting for my Wolverines. Maybe not as staunchly, but just the same! hehe

hehe. Yes, I would still be rooting for the Wolverines. Your suspicions have a knack for coming true huh? LOLZ

I bet there will be more Maize-N-Blue than Texas horns at the Rose Bowl, probably 2:1. It never cease to amaze me how many alum we have out there.

cal1600...you are incredibly wierd

Dude it's BS that Cal is not in the Rose Bowl... screw the BCS!
