The Trojan Transfer Plan

I’m from the Bay Area and considering TTP. Would love to get to know you all who are also seriously considering this. Maybe we can start a Facebook group?

@polololo heyyy im from the bay area too! I would totally join a fb chat

@polololo @Julieanne916 @candylover132 id love to join a fb chat with you guys!

Also considering Paris after looking at the offering of classes at AUP.

From NY and was offered TTP. Was devastated to be rejected but after reading up on TTP (specifically studying in Paris) I’m feeling like this could really be an option. Despite being shattered by my result this year, I still have the end goal of SC in mind. I was worried I was kidding myself in saying it was THE school for me (because really, who knows??) but I think the fact that I am considering TTP with AUP instead of other colleges I’ve been admitted to speaks to something

@ejxw88 I am in the Bay Area with TTP, but I am thinking of going to a UC for the year before I try to transfer instead of going to Europe. For me I feel like a UC may give me more options academically while also being better for me financially. I have not 100% made up my mind yet though.

start a TTP Facebook page!! I’m from the bay too

Someone start a FB Page I’m down

For everyone interested: I created a FB Group!! Just type is “Trojan Transfer Plan Class of 2022”

there’s also a page too w/ the same name! I kinda just messed up but feel free to join both ahaha

@kymc212 joined!

@ChimeraCat I’m also not sure of which path I’m going to take using TTP. @kymc212 thanks for making it!

is anyone considering studying abroad in rome??

Hi guys I also just got offered the TTP! I’m from San Diego and the reason I applied to USC is because my sister goes there and absolutely loves it. I knew I had a very low chance of getting in due to my low ACT stats but still gave it a chance. When I got the rejection in the mail yesterday I cried and threw the paper on the ground never wanting to see it again. But a couple hours later after calming down I checked it and looked into the TTP. I was wondering if I could go to SDSU my upcoming freshman year and then transfer to USC for my sophomore year through the TTP. Anyone know if going to SDSU instead of the community college route will work out fine?

@beehappyy Absolutely! TTP is not a just for going to a CC. You can go to a CC or any 4 year school. The key is taking the correct courses (usually math, writing and GEs that fit) and getting a 3.7. That will pretty much guarantee it (and don’t get arrested or anything). :slight_smile: Some people choose CC’s cause they are cheaper and have clear articulation agreements with USC.

But many people choose four year schools so they don’t give up their freshman experience and totally intend to go to USC, while others use TTP only as a backup plan in case their 4 year isn’t as great as they thought it would be.

They may not have an articulation agreement with SDSU (a list that says which classes count for what at USC) but you can talk to your advisor at the meeting, and it is easy to figure which classes are comparable. Every college has similar math and writing classes, just go by different numbers and identifiers. Good luck!

I got offered TTP recently and I am really interested in studying in Rome. I was thinking about London first but I have heard and am aware that the English education system is difficult. My question is how hard is it to get a 3.3 and above (heard that a 3.4 is a safer minimum) studying abroad in Rome? I am worried that if I can’t make these grades (heard some people did not make the grades) that I would have to go to a local CC and miss out on another school that I am on the fence on. Thanks for the help.

Hi, does USC give financial aid to student under TTP if accepted ?
