<p>I’m looking for a definitive answer on the housing situation for transfers at UCSD. I’ve heard varying accounts from people; some people say that there’s no chance of getting housing on-campus as a transfer, while it others say there’s an <em>ok</em> chance. I’m just looking for a little more clarification as it looks like I’m going to be transferring to UCSD in fall of '06. :)</p>
<p>Save room for the winter admits and don't apply. ;)</p>
<p>Just kidding... I believe the housing situation is getting kinda cramped there. They're giving guareenteed housing the incoming freshman, but I don't think they predict that happening for too much longer.</p>
<p>So there's some space, but not enough for all the transfers I think.</p>
<p>BTW, this is in no way definitive. I just am drawing conclusions from what I saw on the housing department website.</p>
