And maybe we're all just being a little sarcastic/humorous in this entire thread? :)

Haha...snipe...if our UBER SMART arrogance shows through, what do you think will shine through on yours? You're humilty? You're humblesness? Or your cockiness cuz you're "good enough for Harvard?"

or maybe our skill in using homophones incorrectly? =p

It amuses me that this thread is still going.

i love reading and although I read a lot, I still suck at CR. I've also prepared quite a bit.. lots of practice tests, vocab memorization, essay writing, math problems, etc.
yet I still can't score highly. i don't have that "knack" @ standardized testing. yeah I guess my crappy score, which is nowhere near a 2300, is my limit.
NOT FAIR =[
wow 18 pages for this thread; i will try not to post in it anymore.

1st class 2320

now lets compare peni s sizes.

1st class - 2360

I used to suck at standardized testing, so I'm quite surprised at my improvement ;)

This thread is probably the biggest pseudo-intellectual circle jerk on this entire site.

So what's the secret behind all of your 2300+ scores? Any advice, tips?

Work hard, and read and do math problems from a young age.

im going to say this: any one score at the 2200 area has the equal chance of getting 2300. its all about luck of draw.

I don't know if the above statement is true. Not ALL 2200s have the same shots as being 2300 by the reasoning that some 2100s have shots of being 2200s.

^ I'm going to have to agree.

are some 2200s more equal than others?

sorry, couldn't resist.

Nope:

I am a college student but I teach the SAT. I would not say that it is entirely luck of the draw above 2200. All questions tend to fall into nice little patterns, and if one prepares well enough I think that the "luck" factor, given that one is consistent in approach, will only make one's score fluctuate maybe 100 or so points, estimating off the top of my head here from what I've seen in student practices. So like I wouldn't say a 2200 and a 2300 are much different, but I think a 2200 and 2400 are fairly distinct.

what legendofmax said...

1st class - 2400.

woo :).

agree with all the comments so far.. start early, read often, write often, be careful on math, and study vocab!

1st class -1600
2nd class-2390 (790W) but (800W SAT II) =) so 2400!
