A friend of mine said that he received an e-mail confirmation from each UC he applied to just recently. I haven't received anything. Another thing that bothers me is that I didn't receive an e-mail confirmation like the application said I would. I got an e-mail confirmation when I started but not when I finished. Is this a major problem? I'd hate to wait another week or so to be able to login to UC application to update my grades and it says they didn't receive it.

After clicking the final submit button you should have been taken to a page with your “Application ID Number” a seven digit number starting with a 4xxxxxx. You should have also printed this page which included a summary of your application as proof that you submitted your application. If you received this information then your application should have been received. If you did not receive this final page please contact the central processor at the numbers in the first email when you started the application.

My friend at school has received emails from only some of the UC's he applied to. He applied early...like on Nov 15th or so. It makes sense to me that he'd get notified before me, since I submitted on the last day.

When I did submit, the confirmation email went right to my spam folder.

Cool. I hope I get a confirmation soon from each school.

Are we suppose to get a confirmation from each school or just the e-mail generic that said "Your submitted UC application"?

I’m sure you will also receive one from each campus as well. In addition, you will have a separate username and password and website from each campus. In the end it becomes very confusing to which username is for which campus and what password was used. I’m not a big fan of recording account information, however with the number of accounts an applicant can have please find a secure way of remembering your account information.

I submitted my application on Nov 3rd, so far I've only received acknowledgment from UCLA and Irvine, don't know what's happened with Berkeley, UCSD and Davis.

I can let you know that ours have not started to go out yet. When they start to be sent out the e-mail messages are sent on a rolling basis and should be finished by the end of January.

I've gotten a few emails ( UCLA and Santa Barb?) but we also got a snail mail notification of all the schools that got apps today.
