The UChicago's Hunter Games from The New Yorker

It is about that time of the year again at UChicago. Here is the free online version from The New Yorker telling the story of UChicago's Scavenge event. Enjoy!

With a guest appearance from UChicago!

Love the story. Think D will enjoy her days there.

Awesome. Surprised that the Chicago haters haven’t hijacked the thread to advocate that Scav demonstrates how pandering/pathetic/desperate the school is to differentiate itself from its alleged peers such as Southern Illinois, DePaul, the University of Illinois at Chicago, or the City Colleges of Chicago (the last two of which are considered by some to be the same institution as the U of C).

There is indeed a guest appearance from me! I would like to point out that I am the Grace who notes that Scav items require a lot of discussion, and not the Grace who notes that a piece of bacon is “more carcinogenic than normal bacon” because it was in the room while a VHS tape was lit on fire. Just so we’re all clear. :)

OK. Grace the Judge, not Grace the Captain.

Grace, thanks for your helpful answers for many years here!
