I thought it was fairly easy, but some tricky questions.

Free response seemed alright, so was the DBQ.
I kind of ran out of the time for the DBQ because I started with the FRQs.

Oh, please remember:

DO NOT DISCUSS ANY MC QUESTIONS OR FRQ QUESTIONS OR DBQ...
DONT EVENT MENTION THE TIME PERIOD, THEME,..etc.
We have to respect Collegeboard and the CC rules.

But please discuss the difficulty of the exam.
Just want to hear what you guys think the curve will be!

MC questions were surprisingly easy compared to my original expectations.
I ran out of time for my DBQ so I had to finish later on. The FRQs weren’t that great (could’ve been better), and I was really pressed for time.
Hope the curve will be lenient

As my first AP test, I thought it wasn’t too hard. It seemed to me there was more MC questions on the time before XXXX as there was afterwards however. I messed up my DBQ… with 6 minutes left i went back in the book, and realized i had missed the last two pages of documents… oh well… shouldnt hurt THAT BAD

MCQ - These were harder than I had thought, and didn’t cover the same topics I had thought it would, also it went closer to present time than I had expected. I went back over the questions cos I had extra time, counted them up and I got at LEAST 41 out of the 80 right, which is way lower than what I got on all the practice tests…
DBQ - It was awesome! I mean, the topic was easy but idk what score I got, I’m expecting at least a six but hoping for more.
FRQ - I picked 3 and 4, 3 was pretty easy, but I don’t think I organized it very well. Pretty much I spewed out everything I knew of the topic and tried to stick to my thesis. 4 I bet I got like a 4 on it cos couldn’t think of anything on the topic and just threw in some names and events and made it sound pretty, but I ran out of time in the conclusion.

How many MC can we miss if we lose approx 1-2 points on every essay and still get a 5? Sorry that’s a kinda basic question…my apush teacher wasn’t really sure. I thought the MC were very easy but it did get harder as you went (like #60 - #70 was the hardest section).

well a 40 mc with 6s on all essays is a 5 (401.125+62.75+62.75+64.5)

that was my goal considering im much better at essays than mc but this mc was fairly easy so im thinking 60 mc with 6 on all essays (: that would be delightful ill never know though. hope i get to see that 5 in july lol

Wow thank you candy!! That doesn’t sound too bad @ all, disregarding anything disastrous with essays of course. Oh hey just so you guys know there’s someone named Vaeliant who is PMing people trying to find out the AP US essay topics who HAS NOT TAKEN the test, don’t tell him/her! Sorry to whoever that is for ratting you out but everyone else worked hard all year do that’s not fair.

I’m so happy! I feel like I did really good on all of it, except the part C essay, which I think i still did ok on. How many pages did you guys write for the essays? I hope mine wern’t too short.

I don’t wanna be that guy but I thought the MC was kinda hard. Maybe it’s because I literally know nothing about Vietnam & after, I pretty much shut down after WWII. I don’t know I’m just really unsure of myself with the multiple choice, but I hope my essays make up for it. I did a little more than 3 pages for the DBQ, just about 2 pages for both FRQ. Hope it’s enough for a 4 or 5.

This test went so well! I wrote 5 pages for the DBQ and 4 pages for both of the thematics - I loved the essay topics and the multiple choice wasn’t bad either!

Oh wow… You guys wrote a lot! I hope you guys all just have big hand writing… I have smallish handwriting and wrote about 2 pages for all of them. Still I’m happy. I was so afraid I would get an essay that I had no clue about.

No it’s not. I believe the last released curve had a 108/180 as the minimum for a 5. The score you suggested would result in a 105.

On topic: Everything was easy except the DBQ. Extremely stupid topic which was extremely hard to incorporate factual events, acts, wars etc. in.
