i believe the teacher’s recs were pretty good…

my common app essay is pretty, umm, sentimental. it’s about this old lady i was close to who got alzheimer’s and couldn’t recognise me. she actually kept asking people where i was even as i stood in front of her1 that explains the alzheimer’s fix.

for supplementary material ive sent little cartoons with one-liners. each set of cartoons deals with the college ive sent it too.

HOOKS

i want to study molecular bio or its equivalent.

and i’m asking for financial aid…there go my chances!!!

don’t ask me why im not applying to yale.

You will have a 50% of acceptance into all those schools.

Great shot
Still, why not Yale, I'm just curious hehe.4give me if I sound bad

Do you need financial aid? It matters for international students.

yes...there go my chances!!!

chance me please!!!!!!

U have a pretty good shot everywhere. Ur lack of sport might hurt u tho. Oh, and the ivies are need blind so financial aid won't matter.

but dont get your hopes too high because

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=168529

Only Harvard, Yale, and Princeton (as well as MIT and Middlebury and some others) are need-blind to international applicants. Despite its need-blind status, MIT said it's harder for international applicants for admissions (~4% instead of 11% accepted). I don't know about Harvard and Princeton, but all the schools are pretty reachy because of financial aid.

The US financial aid system sucks for international. Even if you live in the US for years without a green card, parents pay taxes, and you fully intend to be a US citizen after graduation, you still don't qualify for federal and many institutional financial aid.

i guess i'm screwed then!!!!!!

no ur not. even at the schools which arent need blind, they will still give u good financial aid.

is this true??? ANYONE???

u'll get in at least 5 of those schools, the rest are all matches
no gpa?

no...our school follows the cisce board, so we have marks...i got 95.6 % in my ICSE (Class X board exam)...let's see if that helps in any way!

chance me pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
