k...how did u guys do on the SAT??? i thought i thought was pretty hard (hard meaning i had more than 2-3 doubts per subject...xcept math)...INFINITELY harder than October SAT.

In oct. SAT, u could get one wrong in math and still get 800, so im guessing same for this; and u could get 3 wrong in crit reading and still have an 800. But oct. test was pretty easy, so im guessing that the scale will be bettr for this test (since the sentence completions were BRUTAL)...

k i cant remember any of the Qs that i wanted to ask, so put down all the questions u remember and wanted to ask!!!

k i just remembered one. It had something to do with a photographer in New York and the answer choices (that made some sense) were: "the photographer acts in a way not expected of most urbaners" and "the photographs reveal inequities none of us want to acknowledge." I initaially put the latter, but the=n i changed it to the former...wut did u guys put?

And the LAST question of that section: "y is [some wierd photographer]'s work significant to the narrator?" Answer choices: "his work reveals the inherent modesty of the photogrpah" and hats all i remember. Wut did u guys get for that?

The Photorapher reading all had to do with how they act in a way that's not normal etiquete of most people, and how they capture what's really going on instead of an impersonation. Whatever answers that were closely related to that i put them as my answer.

i know this is a little specific, but does anyone remember the CR passage about the mother who had many different interests? there was one vocab-in-context question taht i want to konw what you guys put. it was like "which of the following words can be substituted for "runs out" in line ...? I narrowed it down to "flees" and "expires"- does anybody remeber what they put?

You know what makes me mad, that one penguin sentence completion that was supposed to mean foreshadows or something similar was harbinger, which I knew was the right answer, but for some reason I put purveyor and I realized it RIGHT after that section. Also the one about the police figuring something out quickly was celerity but I didn't know until I got home and looked it up.

On all the practice tests I took, I never missed a sentence completion because I have a great vocabulary for someone my age. But these sentence completions ****ed me off. I think I missed 3 overall

thanks- i put expires too- yea on those sentence comps i got lucky with celerity (i had it narrowed down to celerity and impunity and i picked celerity), but with the harbinger one i got REALLY lucky-harbinger adn purveyor were vocab words for my english class THIS PAST WEEK- if they werent i wouldve never known......

dont worry about the sentence comps- adn if what is being said is right that hte october was easier than this, then the curve should be better for this test, which would give u a high score anyway
