<p>I have heard that Ws look really bad for graduate school(same as an F) though… then again I’ve also heard that they’re OK as long as they’re kept to a minimum same as with transferring. I don’t know and i’ll have to look more into the matter myself. In general less is more though. For the record though, I don’t have A TON of experience. I’m not the guru on college transfers unfortunately(all I wanted was into UCI which is 5 miles from where I live and UCI is easy to get into even without TAG). I do know a bit, but it’s mostly just what’s regurgitated from around here and I very well could be a victim of group think. What I’ve heard though is that for undergraduate transfers 3 or 4 Ws is OK as long as they’re infrequent and scattered around, or they’re clustered in at one time and you can explain them(EG: you were in a coma).</p>
<p>Xelink, that is basically exactly what I’ve heard, with 1 exception. Graduates schools strongly dislike W’s, but, just to make things clear, they don’t factor into your GPA as a F. If you just have a few doubles you don’t need to worry about it for either graduate or transfer.</p>
