Two years ago, an article (http://www.browndailyherald.com/2017/03/21/class-2021-applicant-profile/) on the Brown Daily Herald details the Class of 2021 applicant profile. I find it very interesting. You could also compare the applicant profile with the graduation data at Degrees and Completions Factbook (https://www.brown.edu/about/administration/institutional-research/factbook/degrees-and-completions). Some obvious facts from the data:

[ol]
[]It is much more difficult for female applicants to get in.
[
]It is much more difficult for Asian applicants to get in.
[]It is probably easier for Humanities/Social Sciences oriented applicants to get in.
[
]The female/male applicant ratio is unbalanced but the ratio in the student population is relatively balanced.
[li]The 2018 Survey of Satisfaction with First-Year Experience (https://www.brown.edu/about/administration/institutional-research/surveys/first-year-survey) still shows 96% satisfaction rate. [/li][/ol]

Best luck to you.
