<p>I don't get how some people who have much better scores than I do got rejected and waitlisted. It makes me feel like I just BARELY got in, which is not entirely the best feeling to have :/</p>

Cordova: be proud of yourself. they must have seen something in your app they liked. Also, they may have rejected people who they believed UGA was not a match or reach , but a safety. I can't remember if you were deferred, but you must have worked hard during that period of time to show your interest, such as improving your grades, perhaps another award or EC, etc. I could be wrong, but let me know if I'm off?</p>

<p>OMG I have no clue how some people are rejected or wailisted such as jimmyduck and RICH! because I was accepted with a 1620 SAT score and a 25 ACT Composite with a 3.5 UW and a 3.75 GPA. I have great EC's with 9 AP classes but those couldn't play in that much of a factor. I'm also asian though so that may have helped since UGA wants to have a diverse campus.</p>
