What kinds of activities/clubs are you hoping to get involved in?
Are there any artists/musicians/actors out there?
Do you have any odd hobbies?
What is your favorite movie?

AND most importantly

Would anyone be interested in Super Smash Bros. Tournaments?

okay.
Odd hobby: I play the marimba
Does anyone play the marimba? (I could teach ya..)
mathtastic_nerd, physics club actually sounds fun right now. I'm not sure why..
Other hobbies:
Oogling at bboys. mmhhm.
I am also intent on becoming politically active.

So I guess the tournament idea is a yes?
I love UCSD already

Halo, mario kart double dash, mario party, SSBM, it is all fun

Yeah, i want to be politically active too, but not so much along party lines, just with certain issues and progressive thinking in general, maybe we all should create a new political club that invites political discussion (rather than spouting political dogma like the main political parties) (or we could all just play halo, jk)

Where is this NERD LAN? is it a club at ucsd?

Physics club does sound fun, although i have been physics deprived, havent taken a physics class since junior year, still physics for the fun of it, sounds like mythbusters type stuff (i love that show)

im going to admit day. ill own any one of you in SNES mortal kombat, SNES mario kart, Mario kart 64, halo (past my prime though), trivial pursuit, jeopardy 64, and much more lol

mathtastic_nerd, i would support your idea for a political club if you decided to create it. im also tired of clubs that spend all their time bashing the other side of the political spectrum.

im not too much into video/computer games as i am into sports. im very into basketball, watching it on tv and also finding ppl to play with.

i think i will go to admit day just because i haven't really visited the campus yet but it's quite a long drive..

mathtastic_nerd and 024
YES!
I would definitely be up for a political club
Parties spend way too much time battling it out,
people our age spend too much time regurgitating political catch-phrases instead of forming educated opinions and ACTING to solve problems

on a different note,
are there any webdesign related clubs/groups/classes?
thats the #1 thing I need to learn in the next year
