Haha yep, MIT and UChicago. There's got to be more than a few people who do that.

That's me! I love how both schools are baaaasically the only two that don't have defined decision dates.

It's a killer, I agree.

What's even better is the fact that neither has announced one yet.

Caltech hasn't, either...

That's rather odd. If I recall correctly, at this time last year, both universities had already sent out decision letters. Must be the new staff accompanying the ousting of Marilee Jones.

Good luck to all the EA applicants

Jeezus, you scared me

After many stressful/anxious days -- the week is here. I've been trying to find some peace of mind over the past month, and I've deduced this:

The fact of the matter is that our decisions have already been decided, it's been out of our control for over a month (and now even more so, as I imagine all that is left to do is place the appropriate letter with with the appropriate envelope).

Que sera, sera. You're bright, and as long as you give it your best effort, you'll do well no matter where you go.

There are two things we can do this week. We can spend every hour of everyday constantly checking the Uncommon Blog, Facebook Group, and this Forum perseverating over what our decisions will be (and when they will be available online) -- which admittedly, I have been a part of. Or we can take a different route. We can say "We really do love UChicago, and we truly are anxious about our decisions -- but in 6 months, let alone 10 years, would all this fret and stress be worth it?" I know I've asked myself that question too many times.

Best of luck to everyone -- this will be an exciting, eventful, and hopefully relatively low-stress week for all.

The Individual

The ironic thing in all of this is that EA=early action, not early acceptance :-)

No one is perfect.
I am no one.
Therefore I am perfect.

Laugh out loud! ... what am I doing on this thread ;)

What happened, people! Decisions are in!
S in.

Yay, I made it in!

Now time to watch I am Legend with my friends!

my friend made it!!

did you get it by email or letter? What did it say? Where do you live?

haha wow way to revive an OLD OLD thread.

@Post 54: I would be very surprised if those who posted on here two years ago actually still continue to view this board so I doubt anyone will reply.
