The Ups and Downs

This is to all current Dartmouth students
What's your favorite part about Dartmouth?
What's your least favorite part about Dartmouth?
What do you do on weekends?

Hey there!
I’m a '13 that just started school here, but just to chip in:
my favorite part about Dartmouth: the people. The people you meet here are amazing – they are brilliant, some at sports and some at academics, yet all are pretty humble and low-key. Everyone is extremely friendly. What other school has people welcome you with crazy color dyed hair and crazy costume? Also, taking only 3 classes per term is definitely nice.
least favorite part: that it’s already in the 40’s right now. it’s COLD.
weekends: I either go out to the frats or stay in and hang with my floormates. Either way, I usually have a lot of fun, and there is ALWAYS something going on every weekend.

Thanks for responding. Do you think that a person who doesn’t like partying would find stuff to do? I’m not too much of an outdoorsman either. :expressionless: But I don’t mind cold weather.
And isn’t the D-plan stressful? I heard you never get a chance to take a break; there are always finals lurking around the corner.
