The Village

<p>Anyone know anything about the village? I'm a second year student with no housing guarantee next year and would like to stay on campus. It seems like my chances of getting an apartment are pretty slim (I'm in College 9). </p>

<p>I have no connections for off campus non-university sponsored housing.. so I guess my best options are University Inn, UTC, and the Village.</p>

<p>Has anyone ever applied to these places or known anyone who has? I'd like to know my chances of getting in, especially since if I don't get it in the priority housing application, I'm kinda screwed. I'm leaning more toward applying to the Village since riding the bus everyday from off campus doesn't appeal to me.</p>

<p>Also, one day (really soon!) GO DOWN to the quarry and just talk to the people there. There's always someone sitting on the picnic tables playing guitar or in the vegetable garden. Those who live there can tell you exactly what you'll need to do to apply, even if you're late.</p>

<p>To me, the Village is the coolest place on campus!</p>

<p>I actually went down there today to check it out... and noticed a foul odor all over whole place. Does anyone know if this smell is prevalent throughout the year?</p>

<p>Is this the general reputation that the Village has? Can anyone else who lives on campus also attest to this?</p>
