the wait is killing me

<p>I applied October 28th and still havent heard from them. My status has been application complete since December and i logged into my oscar today but i dont see campus services yet. </p>

<p>GPA: a high 3.something
SAT : M - 660 CR - 570 WR - 650 Essay - 10/12
Rank - 39/362
Application Essays - they were alright, but i feel like i could have done much better on them.
All honors classes and 4 APS total - 10th grade AP SPanish , 12th grade AP European History, AP Calculus AB, AP English</p>

<p>EC's - NHS - 12th grade, Key Club - 12th grade, the YMCA -creating diets and following them and working out there, Setting up computers for underprivileged citizens at the Economic Opportunity Association building in my city, </p>

<p>Work - about 20 hours a week at a grocery store for 11th and 12th grade</p>

<p>In-state White Male</p>

<p>i guess this kinda turned into a chance me topic, but eh, i need support because this anxiousness is killing me!</p>

<p>Hi I had a lower gpa than yours (3.68), and I got a 650 in Math on the General SAT. My rank was in the same percentile as yours (5-6/60), and my essay score on the SAT was lower (9/12). I got in... so I don't see why you'd find it difficult...</p>

<p>Around Mar 2/3 I saw student services and 'deposit acceptance fee' option, I haven't yet received my packet though.</p>

<p>I got my CS tab last Friday, but haven't gotten my packet yet</p>

<p>Don't be too worried, some of the packets are sent really late from what I've heard. As an instate student you should have a pretty good chance.</p>

<p>I hate to say this, but I'm positive that all admission decisions were made by 3/1, that's what the admission office has been maintaining.</p>

<p>The GT website says all admissions decisions are mailed by 3/15. It doesn't say they are made by 3/1, at least as far as I could find.</p>

<p>You can call up the admission office and ask them whether a decision has been made on your application..
I hope I am wrong too.. i know how you feel on this.</p>

<p>Hmm, I guess I'll try to call them Monday but I'm sure they'll say that they do not give decisions over the phone and that they only mail them.</p>

<p>my friend's campus services showed up last night, but mine still hasnt shown up. i have better everything than him except his GPA is about 2 pts higher than mine. i think i should be fine :)</p>

<p>hey caltech 04 it happens. but why didn't you to UCB or UCLA. and even if you don't get in, from what i have heard transferring is easy.</p>

<p>Our son applied back in October. Nothing in the mail as of today. Running out of fingernails to bite! He went up on the OSCAR and under the fin aid tab it quotes:</p>

<p>"Satisfactory Academic Progress for Financial Aid Status" Last Term Reviewed
Not yet reviewed Fall 2007 "</p>

<p>Is this bad news? Here it is the 16th and we really need to know something in the next day or two.</p>
