This business of waiting for transfer decisions to come in is making me extremely anxious. I can't focus on my studies, either. It feels like senioritis all over again.

I agree. I'm having a lot of trouble dealing with this whole thing...each day feels like its 100 hours long.

For me, each day of waiting for their decision is like 1 LIGHT YEAR long!!!!!!!! 1 LIGHT YEAR!!!! :(

i am so preoccupied w/ my classes, i don't think much about admissions.

I am still waiting for my Bob Jones decision.

: (

I wish it would rain more here. just an observation. lol.

" For me, each day of waiting for their decision is like 1 LIGHT YEAR long!!!!!!!! 1 LIGHT YEAR!!!! "

???--that doesnt make sense

last time i remember a light year is a measure of distance, not of time.

maybe he is running during his wait.

oh yeah... my bad, yep it is a measure of distance, anyways, I mean waiting for it is like waiting to finish traveling 1 light year long path.

It's awful. It really is. Chicago decisions going out week of 17th... and I know it's going to be a reject.

keep hope!! you won't be rejected, you're a great applicant with a lot to offer. as long as that came through in your essays and such you shouldn't think that way.

i am soo sick of waiting. it consumes all of my time. i should get one decision this week or next week.

Try to get some exercise. Having gone through the sucky transfer process, I found exercise/yoga to be the best stress relievers. I would check my school's online app page twice a day, once when I woke up and before I went to bed. I wound up checking my status every time I logged on.

Just remember, it all will work out in the end. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be.

Also, be sure to keep the faith. In my case, I went from being rejected, to being waitlisted, to finally being accepted on the same transfer app. It was crazy!

Now go jog around the block!

who told u that?

i'll agree with you spicoli. working out really is a great stress reliever. i am ALMOST ready for summer.

i must comment on kevin101's HILARIOUS comment.

"i must wait 1 LIGHT YEAR!!"

haha u fool, a light year = a year. a ton of feathers = a ton of metal.

One light year =/= a year. Light travels at 186,000 miles per second (300,000 kilometers per second). Therefore, a light second is 186,000 miles (300,000 kilometers). A light year is the distance that light can travel in a year, or:
186,000 miles/second * 60 seconds/minute * 60 minutes/hour * 24 hours/day * 365 days/year = 5,865,696,000,000 miles/year

A light year is 5,865,696,000,000 miles (9,460,800,000,000 kilometers).
^
almost 6 trillion miles

i think he meant in terms of time........

Cmon, let's leave the Physics-Disabled student alone, not everyone can do physics you know...
