<p>Yes, but continental philosophers also attempt to answer such questions; most realize, however, that they reach the same conclusions as analytic philosophers, though by using a more circuitous method (if it can be called a method).</p>

<p>Eastern philosophy can be absurd at times; I remember reading that one method for connecting to the realm between being and not-being (p and ~p) is that of performing auto-fellatio.</p>
