the waitlist game.... 5 and counting

<p>This year especially becuase it was so competitive and people applied to more schools it has been estimated that most schools will be forced to use the waitlists more that in previous years to fill their classes. I just hope I get in to one of my 5 waitlised schools</p>

<p>i really can not believe this right now... if theyre looking for a definite candidate they can be assured that my deposit will be sent within 12 hours of them telling me i'm in... i was waitlisted to half of the schools i applied to and i cant imagine what it might feel like to be WL'ed at more...</p>

B - interview went amazing, interviewer is extremely influential. had the upper 75%ile stats as well. essays were good/great.
P - sent a really cute self-portrait. great interview, didn't help
C - one of the best essays I've ever written.</p>

<p>what are the chances of getting into cornell engineering from the waitlist? any ideas?</p>

<p>trying my best to get off waitlist, but otherwise its Berkeley or Georgetown for me...</p>

<p>Waitlisted at Northwestern, WashU, Lehigh, and Boston College. Stayed on for Northwestern (my #1 before decisions came in) and Lehigh. </p>
