<p>I got an email saying that I should submit my waitlist offer by the 15th, (Today) but I go to submit my statement and it says:</p>
<p>“Your statement response to the waitlist prompt must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Daylight Time) on May 16”</p>
<p>An extra day? I wonder why.</p>

<p>^ hey ammstory! im thinking the same thing! my orientaiton for davis is the 29th tho…are you doing on campus housing?? i know we have until july 1st to say what kind of housing we want but i wont be able to go visit until orientation…do you have ne clue between the housings?</p>
<p>I was thinking about changing my orientation date to the 29th, so perhaps I will see you at that one, heh. No, I’m going to live of campus. I will most likely be living in Woodland or Sacramento. <p>Waitlist. My deadline is tomorrow & I already SIRed to UCI (accepted off waitlist too) so I’ll be canceling my UCD admittance. G’luck everyone!</p>

<p>Don’t trip, a lot of people are getting accepted from the waitlist. I was surprised. I’m getting the feeling they will use the entire waitlist this year. A lot of people TAGed, and 80% of the students admitted to UCSD got in from TAG (according to UCSD transfer orientation speakers), therefore a lot of students turned down UCD in general, which in turn leaves a bunch of open spots for the rest of us non-TAGers.</p>

<p>It seems a lot of people got in from the waitlist this year at not only UCD, but UCI and UCSD as well, congrats to everyone! </p>
<p>@IamJ00 You should call them if you still haven’t heard anything, it seems odd that you’re still waiting.</p>
<p>Yeah, I should. UCSC’s housing deadline is on 6/22 and I’m not sure if you can back out after applying for housing.</p>
