lol didn’t call and still nothing

@IamJ00 You have to call them!!! I just got in on appeal and I thought they let people who appeal in after waitlisters. If it wasn’t the weekend this next sentence would be all caps… Don’t be scared, caaalllllll theeeemmmm (on Monday).

Do you know what number to reach UCD at? I didn’t find it on the Waitlist PDF. I’ll probably call Monday should I not hear from them tomorrow.

Here’s the number for UCD Undergrad Admissions: (530) 752-2971

Called. Pretty much told me to wait.

Got in. Don’t know what to do now since I invested myself in UCSC and reserved housing already.

^I’m in the same situation with UCSD and UCD and I have to decide by tonight. It burns man, I feel ya.

p.s. CONGRATS!!! I was rooting for you.

Hahaha, thanks a lot. For the past month I had emotionally invested myself to UCSC and now this. Aaargh, I don’t know how to feel right now.

@IamJ00 What’s your major?

I’m stuck in my decision because UCSD has the best program for me (bioengineering), but UCD has a pretty good program as well as my friends, boyfriend, family, and home.

I usually give people the advice of: go where ever you will be happiest, but asking myself that I don’t even know…

I’m only leaning toward UCSD because of the months of planning and emotions I’ve put into it and making a last minute decision to go elsewhere seems sketchy.

Keep me updated on your decision.

Chemical Eng for UCD
Bio Eng for UCSC

Yeah, seriously. It’s so last minute too.

geez 2011 transfer stuff still going on?

Yeah, waitlisted students are still finding out their admission statuses until the end of the month.

Update: I chose UCSD

Feels bad since I had already embraced going to UCSC, but UCD for me.
Good luck in SD.

UCD is a great school, you’ll be happy there. I was there with my boyfriend for his orientation today, and as always, it was awesome. Good luck in your future schoolings.

I hope I don’t get rescinded. I received a W in Physics but I’m taking it at UCSD during their summer session. I guess I’ll have to call Monday to know for sure. Le sigh.

Also, do we have to officially withdraw from our backup schools or what?

Yes you do. SIR to UCD then immediately withdraw your SIR from UCSC there should be a button or option to do so.

I don’t see one for UCSC. I guess I’ll just call admission.
