as for my trolly path… ehh I justified my school selection, people called me out on it, I further justified it and it escalated, I’d just say that it’s a numbers game at this point where many disagree with me, and the few who generally agree don’t care enough to speak up. My stance is the where you get your graduate degree matters most.</p>

<p>I tend to agree with this myself. Unless, that is, you stop at an BS/BA, then the ugrad school matters. However, your school really just gets your foot in the door on your first job (which is tough enough to do and so shouldn’t be discounted), after that though it’s all experience and networking until the day you retire.</p>
<p>also what I’d been saying, especially when you consider that the median starting pay at UCB isn’t that much varied from the top quartile of those starting at the mid tiered UCs(and let’s face it your average UCB student is typically more qualified than your lower 3/4ths of mid tiered UC students)</p>

<p>It’s fun toying with people. I’ve had years of practice. This might surprise you but I was actually voted most likely to drive a teacher into early retirement (and yet somehow I never got a detention or even sent to the principle’s office) I’m pretty good at finding people’s threshold’s. In general, if you leave people on edge, they tend to be a bit more responcive.</p>
