You were a good boy this year?

Wow you guys must have really, REALLY nice parents. Either that or you're insanely rich. I'm jealous.

My Christmas was very...meh. My parents said that over Christmas break I should be studying for the SATs (they said this as I was unwrapping one of my gifts) and I said that it was CHRISTMAS for god's sake and that I deserve to take one day off after staying up the past week to study for exams. Then my parents basically flipped out on me, telling me that I was wasting my life and that I would never be successful if I didn't make it into an Ivy League college. I told them that I didn't care, because there are plenty of different colleges that are just as amazing, and then they flipped out on me again, telling me that I was a failure. So I didn't bother to finish unwrapping what they gave me and I just sorta left. Typical morning with typical Indian parents, huh? =/

wow, there's a lot of rich people on here. lol

KCB452--Nothing expensive? A frickin' $200 Coach purse doesn't count? Seriously?

Uck, there are so many rich people on here...bleh. No wonder you all have such amazing SATs.

given that a lot of rich and successful parents want their children to be successful (hence the kids' obsessions with college admissions), I wouldn't be surprised...

I didn't really ask for anything because I know that all the college stuff during the next two years is gonna be realyl expensive and I'm going to need a laptop, camera, etc. and I'd rather get new stuff then than get it now and have it be out of date when I go to college. =)
