The Wild West

Alright, we've got two threads that are completely dedicated to Midwest schools, so I thought I'd change it up a little. What do you consider to be the best Western schools? I'm defining "West" as Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Montana, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming.

Tier one: Stanford, UC-Berkeley, UCLA, USC.

Tier two: U of Washington, UCSD, Pepperdine, CU-Boulder, UCI, UCSB, U of Arizona.

Tier three: Arizona State, BYU, U of Oregon, UC-Riverside, San Diego State, Colorado State, Washington State, U of Utah, Boise State.

Obviously I left some out, especially LAC's because I'm not as familiar with Western schools. What do you think, agree or disagree?

LACs: Pomona, Claremont McKenna, Scripps, Whitman

Colorado College,

Many top students choose Santa Clara Univerisity

LACs: Pomona, Reed, Claremont McKenna, Scripps, Whitman, Harvey Mudd, Colorado, Whitman, Lewis and Clarke, Evergreen State, Occidental
