Theoretically, if I am getting -1 or -2 wrong for MC, what essay score would I need, approximately, to get a overall score over 750/760.

Also, with a 8/9 essay, how many questions can I afford to get wrong to still get a 750+ score?

Page 5 has a sample curve.

Is it just me or is that curve very generous? I messed up my May SAT with a -3 and 8 essay and I got a 670. I guess I should be aiming for -2 with a 9/10 essay then.

Kind of sad, before the May SAT I was usually get 0 or -1 on the MC. I thought that the May SAT was the last so I didn’t do any work and now that I’m revising for the June SAT my average has fallen to -3. :(
