Theater at Cornell?

Any info on the theater program at Cornell? Both in and out of the classroom? My daughter wants to major in theater and is considering Cornell. Any feedback on the academic program and shows, etc. outside of the classroom would be appreciated.

Cornell is very active in the Theater Arts. Here are a few links to some related info:

Theater students can get great performance experience at the [Schwartz Center](http://theatrefilmdance.cornell.edu/schwartz-center/index.cfm). About three times a year Schwartz holds auditions that are open to Cornell students. Student performances at Schwartz that are “mainstage productions” can be used for academic credit.

Can students who are not majoring in theater participate in the performances as well? I am going to Cornell for animal sciences but I do stage crew and I would really like to be able to continue with it in college but I’ve looked online and haven’t been able find any information.

The auditions for performing at the Schwartz Center are open to all students at Cornell, so you’d be in good shape to give it a go!
