<p>Anyone can try out for roles in plays. There're usually maybe five or six a semester--basically any kind you could want. A lot are student-directed and some have both student and professional actors. It's pretty competitive to get a role, but I know a lot of the "theater kids" and they're cool, in a non-threatening sort of way. :-)</p>
