Theater at LACs

So I am extremely interested in pursuing theater in college, but I really like the idea of a liberal arts school. BFA conservatory style programs scare me off because I am interested in all aspects of theater, and don't want to limit myself from discovering other passions. Are there any LACs that have noteworthy or especially good theater programs? I understand they'll probably be BA, but I think that is the best fit for me.

I think the reason no one has answered is that this question is currently being discussed thoroughly in a number of active threads.

Look around the forums long enough and you’ll find more in-depth information.

If you go through each page of the Theater/Drama forum, you’re bound to find most of the info you’re looking for. You should do that before posting new questions, just in case your question’s already been asked.

I think you might find my old thread helpful: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/theater-drama-majors/1155372-selective-schools-will-allow-me-double-major.html

There’s 5 pages of very good suggestions and insight, and mostly LACs are discussed. good luck.
