Theater at Vassar/Wesleyan/CUNY Hunter/Queens

Hello :)
I'm coming into my Senior year and am starting my college application process. I have visited Vassar and Wesleyan and really loved both schools. I haven't been on a formal tour of Hunter or Queens but have walked by and know enough about both of them that I don't really need a tour. (I'd probably apply to Macaulay, but if I didn't get in, I probably wouldn't want to attend either of these)
I definitely want to major in Drama or Theater in College and possibly attend law school afterwords.
Do you guys know/have an opinion on which school is the best for theater?
When I visited Vassar, I really liked the school and I am even thinking about applying early decision to it. Many of my friends have advised me against it, but I feel that if I apply E.D. I might have a better chance of getting in.
So what do you guys recommend for theater? and is applying early decision a good choice?

Performance, or design? You may want to read through the theater sub-forum inside the college majors forum for more ideas. Go to the main page where all of the forums are listed, and scroll down to find it.

You might also want to take a look at Sarah Lawrence.

As for applying ED . . . it depends a lot on whether or not you need significant financial aid. If you do, then applying ED is generally not considered a good idea. As an ED applicant, you won’t have a chance to compare financial aid offers. Yes, Vassar is one of the schools that commits to meeting full need . . . but each school’s definition of “full need” is different, and you might find you get a more generous offer somewhere else. Unfortunately, if you apply ED, you’ll never know.
