<p>Congrats on all the acceptances so far!!! :slight_smile: </p>

<p>I also applied and auditioned for the Fordham acting BA (due to location I had to send a DVD audition so I know my chances of making it are slim), so I was wondering if anyone can tell me how they were notified? Was it through mail? Email? And is this the only way they notify applicants? </p>

<p>I live in Europe so I’m worried if it’s all done in mail, then my letter (whatever the decision may be) could take a very long time to get here…</p>

<p>Drama94- CONGRATS! when did you audition? I auditioned on campus on Feb 5th and they said everyone should know but April 1st, and that they rarely notify anyone before. I’m just getting anxious because I really want to hear good news soon!</p>

<p>My son received his BFA acceptance to Fordham today by mail. He auditioned on Feb 4th at Fordham.</p>

<p>JME1992 I wonder if they might notify people outside the US with a different method or by a FedEx package or something. Cause I think it would definitely take a while to get something sent by regular mail.</p>

<p>Thanks for replying kcdunlap! I hope you’re right and I hope I get my decision soon enough. I wish Fordham had a website for applicants like some other schools do. I have a feeling though, if my letter contains good news then they’ll try and get it here faster but otherwise I might have to wait a long time just for a rejection…</p>

<p>Yes, I also got my decision by mail today. I auditioned on campus on the 5th. And yes, you can double-major.</p>

<p>My son moved to the final round of the selection process after his audition on Feb.5th. He received an email setting up a telephone interview for Feb 15. At the end of the phone interview Grant Kretchik told him he was one of 5 accepted by phone for the BFA program. He lead my son to believe that most of the others would hear by mid march for the BFA program.</p>

I auditioned and did the movement section (i think that’s what you said is the next round)
but haven’t heard anything yet. I auditioned about 10 days ago. Do they do interviews to everyone who they think highly of?</p>

<p>I’m joining for the first time because you’re the only people who truly understand how stressful this is!! My D applied to Fordham LC (Acting). She did three monologues and was sent on to the second panel. Her SAT scores are 800 for reading, 780 for writing and 610 for math. Her GPA is great and she has lots of ECs. Does any of that matter? :slight_smile: I’m just venting because I can’t stand the waiting. She also applied to Purchase, NYU, Pace and Emerson. Haven’t heard from those either.</p>

<p>nolafan, sounds like your daughter is in great shape academically for the schools she applied to so it all comes down the audition and what they need. People are hearing from Purchase and Pace but I don’t think NYU or Emerson will notify until later in the month. I agree, this process is much too stressful.</p>
