Theater/Drama Audition & Notification Dates HS Class of 2013 by College Name

<p>A lot of time is spent on the forum asking, "When did you find out?" And "When did you audition?" "Where did you audition?"</p>

<p>I think it creates a lot of stress to hear that someone found out and you didn't yet, and what does that mean? And then later, letters still arrive for others. </p>

<p>I think that future applicants might appreciate seeing the wide range of dates that others have received their letters/emails/phone calls. </p>

<p>I've been writing down the day my D auditioned, the last day the school held auditions, and the day she received a decision. </p>

<p>Most of you probably didn't write it down, but if you are as crazy as me, you can see the dates on the envelopes and check the email date. </p>

<p>Do you think this would be helpful for people to see? If so, I'll start it. If not, then we'll let it go.</p>

Maybe we could just add notification dates (and how they were notified) to it???</p>

<p>Dramamama–thanks for the suggestion! I’m just not sure how to incorporate the information in there. So, I think I’ll try it here.</p>

<p>Even if no one adds to it, maybe someone might find some my D’s experience helpful–or at least comfort in the waiting game.</p>

<p>Okay, I’ll play! It actually is sort of amusing to realize how long ago this all seems…I had to dig to find the dates! All auditions were on campus except for DePaul, by the way.</p>

Dec 8 audition; ACC (telephone call) March 13</p>

January 12 audition; REJ (email) March 23</p>

<p>Most of them were fixed dates when everyone was notified at once; Evansville, Ithaca, and Hartt seemed to notify people in waves, and DePaul does on-the-spot callbacks.</p>
