<p>Any accepted theater majors out there? If so, will you share your stats?</p>

<p>I applied as a theatre major. Here’s my stats copied and pasted from the RD Decisions thread.</p>

<p>Decision: Accepted! (School of Communication)</p>

  • SAT IIs: 800 Maths II, 740 Lit
  • ACT: N/A
  • GPA: 3.9 UW? Our school never gives out the UW GPA…
  • Rank: N/A. Top 10%.
  • Other stats: 6 AP Exams by the end of HS. Heavily involved in school’s arts, mainly backstage and music.

<p>Subjective:</p>

<pre><code>* Essays: Been told the CommonApp one was really good, very personal and humorous. Why NU essay was also personal, used specific examples.

  • Teacher Recs: Never saw them, but they told me they were good
  • Counselor Rec: See above.

  • School Type: Best private in region.
  • Ethnicity: Asian
  • Gender: M
  • major strength/weakness: SAT score and essay hopefully. Weakness: A bit lazy in course selections.
  • why you think you were accepted/rejected/deferred: Hopefully my essays pulled me through, since I was pretty proud of them. And of course, a lot of luck and fortune.
  • going to attend? Not sure yet, but definitely a possibility!

<p>Other Factors: Ahhh I was so excited when I saw the email! Waiting on two more schools, but it’s great to know that NU is an option.</p>
