Theatre - academics or EC's?

Our daughter had a great visit at Washington College this summer. It remains on her list. Beyond her major she might also like to study theatre or, at the very least, participate extensively in productions since it's always been a big part of her life. We saw a lot of interest flyers around the school and noticed the effort they put out to bring new students on board. Has anyone seen a production or been in one who could comment on their experience? Unfortunately, no shows were running at the time we visited.

Thanks.

Abparent -- Is your D a HS senior or junior? My D has applied EA to Washington College, after having visited the campus on two occasions. She is interested in pursuing a B.S. in Biology but was also intrigued by the opportunities to participate in theatrical productions. Unfortunately, she was unable to see a show during her previous trips to Chestertown. She is hoping to have the chance when she does an overnight this Spring.

Yes, our daughter is a senior. She recently sent her priority app to Washington College, not EA though. She's also geared towards a science - Psychology, but is firm on staying active with theatre as well. If you hear anything of the theatre program, please let us know. We'd appreciate any feedback. Good luck to you and your daughter down the application stretch!
